About Us

CAPE was founded in August 2023 under the supervision of Chinese Community Center of the Capital Region in NYS. CAPE is a youth-centered project that aims to reduce stigma around mental illnesses and promote awareness and knowledge of mental health among AAPI immigrant-origin and second-generation youth. Our peer-based counseling services provide a safe space for young people to talk about their mental health and release their stress through art and music therapy. Youth also can receive support from trained professionals.
