Get to Know Us

CAPE was founded in August 2023 under the supervision of Chinese Community Center of the Capital Region in New York State. CAPE is a youth-centered project that aims to reduce stigma around mental illnesses and promote awareness and knowledge of mental health among AAPI immigrant-origin and second-generation youth. Our peer-based support services provide a safe space for young people to talk about their mental health and release their stress through art and music therapy. Youth also can be offered resources and information of trained professionals.
